CRIE (Center for Business Intelligence Reference) is the laboratory for network science, innovation, and entrepreneurship linked to the Production Engineering Program at COPPE/UFRJ.

It has a multidisciplinary team that continuously seeks to develop processes, methodologies, and products that contribute to the competitive integration of Brazil and its organizations into the new productive paradigm of the 21st century: the knowledge society, digital and networked.

Under the coordination of Professor Marcos Cavalcanti, CRIE conducts research, trains professionals (through open courses and postgraduate programs in knowledge management and strategic big data), and provides consulting services in the areas of network science, data science, big data, open data, data-driven decision-making, knowledge management, intangible assets, and complexity.
