New collaboration as a new dish:
Collaboration in the past was often groups of people being blended to be "the same" like the dish Goulash.
However, The New Collaboration is like a Cesar Salad.. All ingredients (people and ideas) remain individually visible, but the "flavour" of the dish is diverse. Many things coming together each contributing and influencing each other, but also retaining their own identity.
Challange: We need a kind of "dressing" or sauce to connect the ingrediences - otherwhise, I see a danger of "randomness" - or a poor tasting dish?
Paradox: difficult and easy
It could become increasingly difficult to build trust in fully virtual environment, especially for certain generations more used to face-to-face interaction
Absolutely. There is an interesting theory called "Swift Trust" which is related to this issue
Collaboration is key for being successful - at it is fun! Collaboration became much easier due to technology.
Trust and culture, key aspects in a digital world
Use power of winds
The importance of catalyst
Crisis helps fastens the pace of collaboration
A crisis (eg Covid) forces new kinds of collaboration - but let's use the lessons afterwards also!
Collaboration ways are constantly changing, and we need to always adapt. Dealing with the uncertain is the KEY
Build trust, being adaptable
How to reduce the conflict and make the collaboration more effective in the whole processes? When some people with different interest being together, these include more challenges
Trust is a key foundation for effective collaboration
Importance of building trust very fast, and across borders, to generate collaboration
Workgroup collaboration is changing in many ways and we need to be aware of those changes to take better advantage of the newer scenario.
For Collaboration you Need a community that knows each other
